thanks very much. i was beginning to think the forum had become a bit quiet, which would be a shame seen as my new truck has recently docked at Bristol. probably going to need some advice with this one as it's very different to my old Gen 2 diesel.
        appreciate the help, thanks

Well, this is a bit concerning.
over a month since i paid my membership, and still no contact or status upgrade.
not much point in being a full member on a site that isn't being monitored .

still nothing on my membership. surely admin must be monitoring this site?
7 weeks is a long time to wait, I'm beginning to wonder whether this is worthwhile .

Rob Watson is the forum Admin and owner. Just looked up his last activity and it was 6 February 2024 No idea how else to contact him besides the contact page. Maybe someone on here knows him personally. I am in Australia.

thanks mate. probably the reason everyone seems to have deserted and gone to the social media sites.
bloody shame, this forum was my go-to back when i last had a surf.

Not so much movement from the team running the site, though.
i've made sure that the yearly subscription is no longer active, and will wait a while before i get paypal involved in a refund.

that's kind of what i'm hoping, mate. i bought a lovely ,beaut of a surf ,from Japan back in april i think. been a long process, and it's finally in the country, passed it's first UK mot, no advisories, has been fully undersealed and waxolyed, and is the the paint shop this week for a few minor touch up's. still waiting on the slow, plodding machine that is the DVLA to issue a regs plate for it.
was hoping to do another build thread, but without the membership benefits, thats not going to happen.
this forum is full of useful information and resources, and i really can't be bothered with the idiots that seem to be abundant on the social media sites.

Right, well sadly there is still no action on my membership application, and i think that 2 months is a more then reasonable time to wait for a reply from admin.
regrettably, i will now have to get PayPal involved, see if that triggers any response.
it's really sad to see the way this forum has declined since i was last active on here, this was always a great place to get good advice and a wealth of knowledge.
