Hi Guys,
I have a 1992 Surf VNZ-130 with manual transmission.
Recently, when the car is cold, I cannot shift gears. When the car is running, clutch fully depressed, it just refuses to go into gear. I have to turn the car off, then put it in gear and then go.
When the car warms up, it returns to normal and is not an issue.
Also, the same with reverse. It just will not go into revers unless I switch off the engine. Is fine when the engine is warm again.
A few things I have noticed is, when the car is cold, the Clutch has so much free travel,
Also, if I start it in 1st gear with the clutch fully in, the car still drives forward.
So, the clutch is still biting with the clutch fully pressed.
Not sure why it gets better when its warm through.
Any ideas what this could be?
Thanks
