Newbie here; is this Surf worth the asking price?

I'm looking to buy a Surf advertised at £3995, and want to know if it's worth it with the following specs:

1996 Toyota Hilux Surf 3.0TD Gen 3
216k Miles
Lots of service history
MOT until 13th November 21
Decent body condition

I've checked the reg and it seems to pass MOTs first time fairly regularly. I'm just worried about the engine more than anything, what with 216k on the clock!

hello matey seems a bit expensive to me on the mot it says fuel pipes corroded in my experience with mine this was the rear heater pipes which can be bypassed in the engine bay ,I wouldn't worry about mileage chances are any that could go wrong has already happened if it was me id save my dosh and keep looking

I'd check the 216k... it'd probably be km, not miles as these are all japanese import trucks measured in km. Even if the MOT etc says miles, it's most likely km

As for £3995 unless its an intercooled model I'd say it's overpriced. Id say £3k.
