what are the heads made from ?

can anyone tell me what the heads are made of, from a 1992 2.4td surf cast iron or alloy ?? or does it matter which you need anyway.....thanks

The head is cast iron although if you read this forum you might be forgiven for thinking that they are actually an iron/ glass/sponge alloy!

YES THEY ARE CAST IRON. They crack sometimes ALLOY heads tend to WARP.
