Looking for information on wheels and a lift kit for my 3rd gen surf

Today I bought my 5th 3rd gen surf and hopefully my last.
its a slightly scruffy 1999 facelift black tdi model.
i want wide alloy or steel wheels,body and suspension lift.
what do folk recommend,2" suspension lift and 1 1/2" body lift?
i had a 3.4 v6 surf with 305/70/16 mud tyres and I'd like that size of tyre but with a less aggressive pattern as it will be mostly road use.
Also any links to U.K suppliers of 10" with steel wheels or alloys?
links to lift kits although roughtrax and milners are both out of stock till August at the earliest.

18+ Years of Surfs n 10 years later me KZN 130 Spotless it wasn't but Faultless to a "T" it was but expired in March 2018....My other replacement Truck is now also faultless to a "T" !!

Plenty of wheel options as for lift kits if you buy from ebay don't go for cheaper options, if the write ups are still on here check them out, a lot of good advise,
