Hi All, I hope you can help. My trusty Surf of 13 years has decided to stop going. It is a 3.0 KZ185 1996, it will idle but then dies as soon as you rev the motor to 2000 and hold it there, the engine management light comes on and the motor slows down, as it slows down the management light goes off but then

Maybe pull the ECU codes in case there's something else wrong, before you commit to changing the SPV.
