Hi just wondering what antifreeze to put in my 94 3.0td surf

Should be the red stuff, but you need to see what is in it now asyou cant mix the red and blue as it creates a sludge

Down to preference. This is always an argument point this question. I use JCB green antifreeze, but i would suggest flushing the coolant before you do anything a good few times (and before the temp drops too much). while you are flushing, flush the heater matrix (and rear one if you have one) see the post in

I just have water in the radiator at the moment cause of work carried out on the engine. The inside of the hoses and radiator have rust colour in side so will give it a flush before new antifreeze thanks
