Hi, I,ve identified problem,( mechanical gears on end of motor rusted rotted away) price of new unit £100+!!,questions; is it possible to obtain gears only, any motors from other doors fit? and finally motors from other Toyota models substitute. (thinking scrap possibilities) thanks in anticipation

Iv'e seen plenty of threads that say a Toyota Corolla rear window motor is the same as the Surf tailgate window motor - more chance of finding a Corolla in a scrappy than a Surf.

Think you'll find it's the front passenger window that has the motor you need .
