Just got out of A & E

Well just got out of A & E...noticed a twinge in my knee earlier on today at work and thought nothing of it until I started to limp slightly....came home and put ice pack on but it developed into more pain when trying to walk.

Went to bed early as I should be best man at friends wedding tomorrow but woke up in pain and fell out of bed so went to hospital..have to go to fracture clinic in the morning for further tests. Possibly got a Ruptured Bakers Cyst on the back of the knee . worst case scenario could mean arthriscopic surgery.

heres hoping...just to get rid of the pain [feels like somebody is keeping a red iron poker on the back of the knee]

Cheers Morr...just hope they give me the OK with Langdale round the corner...as u say it all happens at the worst of times...but should'nt complain really as others are far worse off...starving, lost parents etc..

Sorry to hear that m8!! Dont worry about having the op though - I had a similar one last November and a couple of weeks later I was good as new!!

ARTHROSCOPY etc as with Linda i had one a year or so ago not that bad really mate as operations go. whats with the BAKERS CYST as you work in I/T.

Hope they sort it or diagnose it for you tomorrow mate.

We take knees for granted until they go wrong. They are the bodys suspension system. You never know, you could come out of hospital with a suspension lift and new shocks.

Well had the check-up and been given pain-killers and ibuprofen evry four to six hours along with my leg covered in tubi-grip bandage from top to bottom and told to rest..as though I can do that...next appointment for 7th April....so at the mo I'm walkin round like Long John Silver or should that be hobblin like Long John Silver...just need the fancy dress and the talking parrot now LOL

After the mates wedding today and the way the knee feels at the moment [had to come away from the celebrations..as it seemd everyone wanted to kick the leg today LOL]
