tyre i could fit without a lift? currently on 31x10.5x 15 on aftermarket steel 8 spoke rims. Remember WIDEST not biggest.

I'd estimate 31 x 12.5 as you can run a 10.5 with 1" wheel spacers, and the other 1" will go on the inside.
But the only tyres I know off easily available in that size are TSL swampers, and you won't be impressed with the on road manners of them.
