Yeh that VX looks nice was it an import? You could get a home sold one like Luckys and have front and rear Toyota lockers too.

Linda, doesnt everyone give their first price knowing they might have to drop a little to clinch it, you have to try it. I did say water cooled but it was air cooled. I have his number. He has a good few old deutz and others he says. I'm fairly sure its running.

Yep that will be an import, you can tell by the mileage, no way you'd get a UK spec one with that few miles on it.

Plus on the UK ones you get 8 seats and electric height adjustable front seats so that if you are less than 6 foot like I am, you can still see over the bonnet.

Oh and I tried the lockers out the other day and they work.

Still think you should go for the two of them, there are more than 500 euros worth of parts in them.

And even though the VX LWB is the best of the LCs for everyday use and comfort, the 40 series, especially a BJ 40 with a 3B engine still rocks as the best and most authentic one they ever made, plus you can maintain them with a BFH and a wheelbrace

        Cheers
