Help me!

Have been having probs with 1st gear of late. Every now and then as i pull away from a junction, the d**n thing 'jumps out of first gear and then makes a horrible grind as i put it back in again! Anyone got a clue?

have you checked the transmision fluid recently?

Thanks Maurice, I did a search but came up with loads of pages that seemed irellevent, I guess its down to what you put into it!
