mines got to be my first Mini, it had the old floor start button
she was great
i put a full race 1300 engine in her
she was a rocket back then, but could not stop her so put disc brakes on all round, resprayed her pillerbox red,tinted windows, spots in the grill the works.
had to sell it to pay for deposit for bungalow when i married first wife
still was married for 28 years and two great kids.
but she was a beautie my old 63 mini

did you know him paul guy that bought it off me came back 6weeks later to ask if i had the 850 engine still as he pranged it and was only insured as 850 miniOriginally posted by Dunno
did not have heart to tell him insurance guy had been to see me about the car as 850mini not usually have disc brakes all round
