Tyre sizes

Can anyone shed any light on the following

Currently running 275-70 r16

been offered a set of grizzly claws but they are

285-75r16

will this side wall size increase cause me any problems?

im also assuming the 10mm increase in width will be ok?

any ideas

From what I have read on this forum people who have put on 285/75/16 have all had some rubbing on wheel arches etc (and any sort of off roading is probably a no-go) - thats on unmodified surfs without lifts etc.

You may get away with those tyres with a 2" lift but could not be certain.

Do a search here for "285/75" and you will find a few posts about this.

285/75/16 works out as 32.83 inches diameter so you will definately need a lift, 2 inches should do it.
