paint code and other daft questions

i have a 94 3.0 td surf its blue (dk) anyone any idea where i can find out colour code or infact what colour it is

Q radio expander do i need to get to the back of the radio?

can't help with the Paint, but I wouldn't bother with the radio expander, far better to fit a UK radio.

Using the search facility on the forum will return an abundance of answers to both these questions.

For example searching for Colour Code turned up 23 results

The paint code should be stamped on the VIN plate on the bulkhead under the bonnet along with the chassis number etc.

He's right - find it then take the code to a good paintshop & they should be able to mix it for you.
Remember, you are trying to match 8+ year old paint

If it is a Dark blue Metallic (Mica Blue) it is probably paint code 8E3, however not all 8E3 colours are the same. I used Vision Paints which was a pretty accurate colour, PPG colour comes up too purple. I think that the proper one is an ICI paint.
