hello all

just a quick question that has been bugging me .

i am just about to go to an auction to pick up a surf.
i am looking for a pre 93 model so dont need a sva test, the transport and mot has been arranged.

but how do you insure a vehicle with out a registration number ?
as you need insurance to register it ?

anybody have a clue ?

you can insure vehicles on chasis numbers for a limited time have done it in the past but check with insurance company and also be aware of any exclusions they might add in addition to normal

Most companies will insure for third party only until you supply the reg number .
