                  Cheers Rick, I appreciate the offer. Fortunately I have managed to get one a clutch kit at cost (through a mate at the parts shop) and have a friend of a friend doing it for me on Monday/Tuesday. I explained about the challenge and he agreed to do it straight away (darn good of him as I don't even know him) so hopefully by Tuesday I should be back on the road

                            Even more than that, I've had an electrical fault for the last 2 weeks and it's been driving me nuts!! - thought it was the leads, then dizzy, then coil, checked the earths. turns out the EFI relay had worked itself loose - pushed the litte bu**er back in and hey presto, Bob's your Uncle it's cured :thumbsup
                            (very nearly bought a coil @ £85 - Phew!!!)
