        Yep! and Yep!.....

        Saw a tv piece on this the other day....apparently you have boxes of little goodies [toy cars, puzzles..cheap stuff] that someone puts in a box...and you leave an item after taking one...apparently the Yanks started it and theres a website.

          You obvously saw the same tv programme that got my wife interested in the "sport".
          Still its a good excuse to get a decent gps system!!

            Why not get a cheap etrex and an os map for this geochaching....To run memory map is not cheap after you have bought your ipaq the software costs £200 for the whole of the UK but can be split for regions that you require,but its worth buying the package.


            The etrex does have basic mapping and is primarly used for walkers and slips into pocket easily against using ipaq where depending on what you buy you have external hardware to worry about.
