Turbo from Hilux surf to my Hilux 3L

I have a 1989 Hilux pickup 3L, I would like to see if the turbo from a 2.4L (2L ) diesel will transfer straight across, what parts would I need. There aren't many of these trucks in Canada so I hope you guys can help out. renechap@hotmail.com
