box like a relay box ?

I was Fitting some new ice in the surf when I moved this box like a relay box and all the eclectics in the surf went crazy it only did it the once

I hadn’t fitted anything at this point that was not already fitted does any body know what this box is fore and should it be fixed down it’s a 3rd gen ssrg
