Large service interval

My friend at work asked me to check his levels on his 2.4 Surf .Oil off dipstick took 4 Litres to fill to mark, water none in the expansion bottle or showing in the engine when the cap was removed. Both now topped up and the truck runs fine. Lucky or what?

I bet the gear change is smoother now. Also quieter.

That was the engine oil I think it only takes 5ltrs....Oh but you have a point I did not check the gearbox
