  • Anyone got an I-Pod?

I bought one in NY and I'm trying to set it up now - its taking ages and ages to format on the PC although it does look like its doing something - does that sound right??? Must have been running for 20 mins now.

      Hi,
My sister got one for xmas, it took a long time to format and then when she tried to transfer all her music across in one go (about 20gb) it kept crashing and wanting to reformat.
After calling the ipod help desk they said you should only put on an album at a time!!!! took her 2 days to put all the music on!
      Godd luck

I`ve got an Iriver 20 gig drive, I love it as in the summer I listen to around 8hrs of music a day and its invaluable.

I got a pink mini I-pod. 4gb. It stores about 1000 tracks depending upon their size.

It took about half hour to format the first time I connected it but since then no problem.

@Truckarms - No problem with transferring multiple cd's onto the i-pod , I have done about 10 cd's at a time so far (just coz I wanted to use it whilst more music was loading)

@Matt - It's great - I'm really pleased with it... had it playing when I was picking poo this afternoon - made it much more enjoyable!! I also got a little thing called an I-trip which plugs into the top of the I-Pod and allows you to play it through a radio - no more cd's in the car... LOL

Besides - Pink would really suit you.....
