Haven't had time to paint the truck yet as we are busy preparing to drive up to Kenya in two days time. 4000km over about 7 days.
"C" serviced the truck last week: 2 million zimbabwe dollars! Found the retaining pins on the front brake pads were corroded solid so had to drill and then punch them out. Local place made us new pins and "bob's your uncle"!
Rear crank shaft seal is leaking a bit but I'll just take plenty of spare oil to keep topping up. Had to add a piece to the skid plate that Rusty made me to cover the front approach to the bottom of the radiator: 4mm mild steel cut and bent by a local workshop - cost me about 7 quid!
Otherwise everthing is mushy man and we are really looking forward to the next phase of my overland trip!
