Daewoos to get small block chevvys

Has anybody noticed the farce that is Daewoo changing its name to Chevrolet. They have adverts on the radio with these big US jock voices saying 'Born Strong' and other crap like that.

They're still Daewoo, still cheap Korean or wherever they're from tupperware cars that you bang your head off when you're gettin in but we're all now expected to associate them with the big gas guzzlers from the States.

Apparently, at the launch of the new Corvette, journalists were forbidden to call it a Chevy. I think they call it brand repositioning.
