Actually as long as the then I would class this as light front end damage, repaired my daughter's Fiesta from worse. It would probably make someone a good motor.

I thought about buying it for myself and fitting a seconhand 2nd gen front to it (if they fitted with min mods) as the panels would be more regularly available .

No room for it and no time anyway , but I still want it for the removalable/convertable factor of the rear cab section that I like on the 1st gen .

Were it a 3.0L TD then it might be a viable proposition- the 2.0L EFI might be a tad underpowered for a Surf?
