its now 6 weeks since i posted that i thought the head had gone,ive not had to top the water up since ive done nothing to it,its still running ok no water loss and its not overheating was it just a warning or has the head gone?????? i dont want to spend money on it just for the sake of it

cost you £15.00- £25.00 to get it tested at most garages
my Toyota main dealer kept mine over night and didn,t charge me at all.

Get it tested just to make sure but I think that you may well be OK.

Mine did that then a few months later confirmed head had gone. It overheated bringing the caravan home from storage.

When I had my 2.4ltr, I was constantly worrying, especially when towing. After a few months I decided to trade it in for a 3ltr. I am sooooo pleased I did it now. I hardly look at the temp guage any more and my mind is free to think about better things.
