PIAA are supposed to be the best, but I'm not sure if they are worth the price they charge for them as I've never had any. Have a look here for some reasonably priced ones.

Compare it with here for the PIAA

I had a set of rally giant ones from halfrauds, they were about £35 and lit up the road really well on full beam, they also came with wiring and relay, all i had to get was a switch.
Much as i hate Halfrauds they were a good buy!
If it aint broke...........give it some more abuse!!!!!!!!

        hey bub,

here's piccie of mine (well santa brought me a digital camera, so you gotta use it right...!!)

the spots are from powerful uk, they look good, but the quality of the chrome on the back is not good (lots of rusty rain spots). roughtrax have some good stainless steel ones, as do pro-comp and others. it's worth paying a little extra...!!! as soon as roughtrax get their new ones in (stainless steel with an 'eye' effect on dipped beam) i'll be changing mine.

the small spots are from halfrauds and wired to a remote switch.

        see ya'll

I have never seen any better than Cibie Super Oscars for beam clarity and distance. Not so easy to get but blow away the competition. All those rally drivers can't be that wrong.

Used to have a pair on a Mini (they were bigger than the mini pretty much) but could scare the birds out of the trees from a Mile away.

I've got Ring rectangular driving lamps on my roof rack, don't look that sexy but they work really well. Again they have a really defined pattern which is easy to set up and throw a good level of light quite a long way.

I really like Ring lights, only thing is they are functionaly rather than pretty and the cases are plastic which makes them a bit more fragile. Reflectors are really good though and they don't cost a lot either.

          Cheers

I have to agree with lucky, I bought a pair of Cibie rectangular spot lights off ebay, I am very impressed with the beam pattern and distance. They don't look particularly special otherwise though.
