49 inch tyres are now legal(ish) in the UK, LA Supertrux have some in stock. Size is 49/21x20.

Here's a pic with it next to a 44" Bogger.

May have trouble getting it on the rear spare rack..............

I saw one when I was over there a few weeks ago. They really are enormous - and the 20" wheels are pretty bling

Yeah, normally 20" rims would have me reaching for the bucket, but wrap them up in some 49's and they look OK.

I don't fancy having to change one of those on a dark and wet night stuck in the back of beyond...

And by Legal'ish you mean that there is a clamp in the country big enough for one of those, just not in general circulation... (Stick that in your pipe and smoke it Ken Livinstone)
