Only had the surf for a couple of weeks and still getting used to it. What a godsend this site has been already, just made up a bleed valve for the cooling system (draining the cooling system this weekend/flush/new antifreeze....wish me luck) got myself an aussie Max Ellery repair manual to look after it. Must admit I had a bit of a fright when I realized how many Surf heads go pop, had a root through all my paperwork and found out the surf had a genuine new head main dealer fitted in the spring, sigh's of relief all round. Popped a couple of new steering stops on, thats made the wife a lot happier! Just need to get the aircon going and were all set up.
I can fix it...it won't be cheap.........or pretty!
