New member and a question

Hey all great site....

I have had me surf for about a year and love it.
Works well on the farm running over the fields and stuff.

Only just got a small problem.
It loves to be in 4WD a bit too much...
Can't get the darn thing out of it.
Me mate has had a look at it and has found the following.
With the 4WD control unit fitted it's in 4WD.
With it removed it will play in 2WD..
Got a new 4WD control unit, plugged it in and the same thing happened.
Press the button on the gear selector and no change

Just wondered if anyone had a electric diagram of the 4WD set-up so I can see if me mate can find anything else?

Ohh its a manual 1991 if that helps?

But mine is a manual, does this change much?
Also where is the Relay?
I know about the control unit, but can't find a relay

The ADD relay is up under dash on the braket that supports the brake.There are two relays on this bracket and the brown one is for the aerial.
