Leather seats

Does anyone know where I can get leather seat covers made for my Surf? I have heard that someone comes out and measures up and takes a pattern then comes back and fits them. Somewhere in Scotland would be preferable. Oh, and yes, I know it's lots of ££££££££££!

Saw an ad in What MPV + 4x4 for leather seats. They claim to retrim pickups to people carriers and quote from £795+VAT for pickup thru to £1275 + VAT for 7 seaters. Their web address is [URL=http://www.car-interior.co.uk] and phone number is 01925 485194. Ad states custom made colour scheme & embroidory using the finest hides.

Might be worth a call. Might be interested too (and I'm in Edinburgh). Let me know if you get anywhere please.

Streetluge Chris had new leather covers for the 3rd Gen a while back, might be worth dropping him a pm to see if he still has em or can get more.

Thanks everyone, thought I would hit a dead end on this one but there's hope yet. I'm gonna check out these companies this afternoon and have seen the pics of Streetluge Chris' covers, just hope he still has them.

Also Denre down in Cornwall told us he'd had a quote for full leather seating and upholstry for a reasonable price for his 4runner - think about £500 but wont swear to it. I know its a bit far from Scotland but they may ship? Maybe try PM'ing him, or Koi may have his contact details.

OK they're not leather, but it looks like they'll fit well and you get four headrest covers too, where as most car seat cover sets you only get two!

I've been kind of toying with getting some of these. I reckon these, in addition to some leather and a staple gun for the door cards should look alright. If I ever get around to doing it, I will post pics up.

The same people do plastic ones for 75 too.
