Oppps! There Goes My Haed.

Hi All.
Well it's lasted for over 3 years but my head has bitten the
bullet big time.
Was waiting for my little one to finish her horse riding lesson
on Sunday thought it was getting cold so started the engin up
to get some warmth in the truck as it was freezing.
Ohhhh what a lot of white smoke/steame comming out of the tail
pipe,better turn that off then.
Very slow drive home lucky less than a couple of miles,looked
in the engin bay loads of water but all over the engin bay.
Let it cool down refilled the system crossed my fingers started
her up no probs?
Took it for a drive down the road ran fine untill the temp
started to rise and the fan cut in bringing it back down.
Well there you go,new rad,thermostat,rad cap flush etc and the
head still has gone...bother
Gone into the garage to have an head transplant,just cant wait
for the final bill about right this side of Christmas.
Still something to moan about for a change.
Will up date when she decides to come out to play again.

Have you told the garage to get a head from STEVO

Hi Mark
Spoke to Stevo Monday good prices and to fit the new head,
only problem I'm down here in the south (Reading) cost a small
fortune to send the truck up and to collect it.
Gave the garage a listing of supliers,gone with uk cylinder heads
but anyone up north would get a great deal going to Steve.
Feel a bit lost with out the old girl?
