I work for a wholesale business supplying mainly florists but the range of goods we stock means we have also suplied Unions, poultry farmers, supermarkets, a well known website and we've even had to deliver to Harrods!
We have a fleet of Mercedes... well a Sprinter and an Atego but you still get the keyring.
Its true that selling flowers isnt the most manly job in the world but since 90% of the customers are female you learn to cope.
Im not sure what my specific job is but im sure i do something all day.www.thegamingunion.co.uk

Not everybodies cup of tea I'm sure, but it is very interesting and can be very rewarding.
Spent the last 4 months working on the Isle of Man and an now working in sunny Watford for a month.
Any other A.P.T.s out there???A positive attitude wont solve all your problems but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort!

Had a varied career when I was younger; the army, ran a beach bar in The Gambia, sound engineer in a (very) small studio, put TV's + videos together for a large japanese company, and many many more. Been a teacher now for 7 years, currently working in an independent prep school as a science teacher and head of Physics. And yes, I do know it was your worst subject at school. I'm told it by just about every b u g g e r I meet.
The holidays are DAMN good though Anyone want to join me diving in Belize this summer? For FIVE WEEKS? Booked and paid for, I love my job!!!!!!Last edited by Diveboy; 5 December 2004, 18:13.

Sorry about the pun, can't help it sometimes .
In answer to the questions, we do get the usual ones:
How do you do it? -
You must see some things? -
You must get paid a fortune? -
Cheers

It's quite interesting most of the time, especially being responsible for your own company - don't have a proper boss to tell me what to do!
Any Police IT managers out there who want some quality software solutions?....

I'm an Analytical Laboratory Supervisor for:
http://www.cytec.com/business/Engine...als/index.shtm
We make resins, adhesives, prepregs, etc. Mainly for the aerospace industry but second biggest market is the performance automotive stuff - virtually everything you can see and a lot you can't see on an F1 car is made out of prepreg.
Worryingly though, I know a shed load more people that are scared of flying than I did before I worked there......
I also take great pleasure in telling boy racers from time to time that their precious, incredibly expensive carbon spoilers look like material that we'd only sell off as scrap!
Surfness has rubbed off at work, there's now 2 in the carpark!
