Dont know if any of you heard about it over there but here all the main news media picked up and ran with a SHOCK story that many top brand cars have failed Thatchams whiplash seat test.
They had the Thatcham people on to back up their scary headlines which left many people I'm sure thinking that their seats just arent good enough. Headrests must be as close to the back of the head as possible they said and tonight in my 'car' I realised why they arent - because its damned uncomfortable thats why.
I hate not being able to tilt my head back for a few seconds now and again. Imagine a long journey with your chin in you chest - its daft. It reminded me that in the past I've almost torn seats apart trying to get the crossbar out which holds the headrest in its place so that I could turn it round and so have it tilt back instead of forward.
