Been reading about BIODIESEL etc...Not very economical for me here in SA as diesel is about 45p/L and I've just had a look in the supermarket and Veg Cooking Oil (Sunflower etc) is about 80p/L (like the situation in NZ). But when we are in Zim, sometimes there is no diesel to be found for love or money and so it is amazing to find out that I can dilute the diesel in my tank by 50% and still get from A to B! Black market prices in Zim can be 2 or 3 times Government rate so using VCO is a brilliant stratedgy!

At the moment my injectors are overfueling (giving me clouds of black smoke on acceleration), can I hope that this black smoke will go away if I use a 60:40 mix of VCO to diesel?
