  • screw holes in the boot?

nosing around in the rear luggage area yesterday i found four screw holes on the floor that go right through - i can see daylight through them.

they are roughly in the four corners of the boot, and the carpet has what looks like factory made cuts to allow access to these holes.

Any idea what they are for? - perhaps some kind of hooks/loops for attaching straps to?

anyone with a more mechnical mind than mine know what size screws would normally fit such holes - so i can plug the holes at least until i can fit some luggage strap loops.?

amazing how for the first week or two its immaculate, then you start to notice all the odd little things that escaped you before!! Like the rattle behind the dashboard, etc

    thanks in advance

Yes they are luggage tie downs. Normally a "D" ring. Not sure on the bolt size though

thanks danno - just needed it confirming.

didn't want to go puddle running and find the boot getting sodden for unknown reasons.
