  • cheap bull bar

    Saw this on ebay and wondered if any one new if it would fit my 94 3.0td Surf

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=4506246232

    It looks a bit rusty but it might clean up right..?

    Im desperate to buy a bull bar, but someone keeps taking my hard earned..

    That's not a bull bar.It's a nudge bar or A bar I think you call them over there.Should fit if that's what you want.

      Yep, That's only a Nudge-bar

      They're a lot smaller than A-bars as far as I've seen. What sort of £ were you looking at? I got the ACC003 from Roughtrax, but I think they do a cheaper A-Bar - have you checked them out?

      AFAIK:
      Nudge bar (or City-bar) - highest bar sits around bumper-level;
      A bar - highest bar sits around bonnet edge (some have sump guards) and;
      Bull bar - as A-bar with extra bits extending out to edge of vehicle around headlight depth (see the Gen2 bars for sale on here to see what I mean!).

      Someone'll correct if I'm wrong.

          Shop around for something in better condition. the chrome plating is blistering off and it's rusty. No amount of cleaning will make it look any good.

              IMHO anything looks good if it is sprayed matt black. I'm a child of the seventies - you understand?
