  • Tyre conversion query?

Using the website below it turns my 31/10.5/r15s into 267/76/15. Does that mean a 265/75 would be better than 265/70s as suggested in a few places on this website?

    Cheers,

    T.

I don't think they woud be better, just different. 265/75 is closer to that imperial measurement so probably 'better' in some opinions.

My old Goodyear AT/Rs are 31x10.5 R15 but under where its says that is then says 255/75R15 so it probably changes with each manufacturer and each tyre model.

God knows what my 33s are supposed to be!

Which tyres are you thinking of getting?
My Goodyears are for sale, 2 with 4-5mm tread 2 with 3-4mm tread if you don't want brand new.

      Lord F,

Thanks for that, I'm looking at getting some mud terrains to replace the ATs that ive currently got. I will probably go for the 75s then, as you point out its closer.
Thanks for the offer though and i'm only up the road so it would have been convenient - next time!
      Cheers.
