  • Grabber AT's

Does anyone have any experience of the new Grabber AT? Particularly what it's like in mud. I have had the old Grabber AT2's on for 5 years and they are a great all-round tyre. The new one looks like it's going to be pants in mud / wet grass. Anyone agree / Disagree?

Does anyone know a dealer thay has stock of the old AT2 in 265-70x16???

                  Grabber AT

That's the new pattern alright. doesn't look anywhere near as aggresive as the old one. Pattern less open so I'm worried they won't be as good in the sticky stuff. Don't want to spend 500+ and find they're a pile of the proverbial.

Any more intel out there - esp anyone who has actually tried the new ones in anger in the mud???????????

more of a road pattern, doubt they are as 'able' as the orig Grabber AT2's, but i'm sure someone will be along to say different...

Well, I wouldn't have thought General Tire would have gone backwards in tyre design. The new style A/T is supposed to be better than the previous design.

Very impressed with them so far, they do look more aggressive in the flesh than the pics suggest.
