There will probably still be rubbing, I tried to fit 33x12.5" BFG Mud Terrains on last week and with a 4" lift I still got major rubbing with 32mm offset wheels.

Just coz they 'fit' doesn't mean you'll be able to go around corners!!
I've got a plan and it's as hot as my pants!

I have the 33 Kumho's on my 2nd gen with a 4" lift and only get slight rubbing at the extremes of suspension travel goes round corners without a problem just take the front mudflaps off

What width and offset wheels are you using?
My mate currently has the wheels as I didn't have the time to angle grind everything, he's had tocut the valance up and even with the mud flaps off he gets rubbing and that just sat at normal height (well, normal for a 4" lift). I think if the wheels were standard offset and narrower it would pull them in enough.

Rims are 15x8 steels with a -32 offset, haven't had to grind anything off and only really need mudflaps off when using off road not on.
Truck has a 2" suspension and 2" body lift

                    Lots of money.

2 or pref 3" body lift, 4" suspension lift, wind steering stops in, big hammer.

Then you'll have address why it only does 50mph up hills on the motorway...

Yeah, 35's are a big ask when it comes to a little truck. Ratio changes and all sorts are needed along with serious suspension and body lifts!
