my uncle has just brought a toyota hi-lux surf the tyre size is 31x10.50.15 and he wants to put larger tyres on it and was woundering what is the largerest tyre he can put on with out altering the truck

also what are he best tyres to have for both on and off road

they are the largest you can fit safely on to a normal surf otherwise you wont be able to turn the front tyres without ripping them apart on the side walls. there are few place to get all terrain tyres camskill, rough tracks 4x4tyres.

if you want bigger tyres you will have to either put a body lift on it or suspension lift. the body lift is a lot cheaper.

well i just bought a standard 4 runner to run around in till the surf is fixed and as long as you dont go off road lol 33,s will fit just need a file ,..

I Am Runing 265-75-15 Khumos,,but I Suggest Keeping The Tyre Size You Have As The Car Drives Well With Your Original Size.
If You Increase Tyre Size You Will Normally Lose Mpg And Performance Due To Aerodynamics And Extra Weight.
