  • AT tyres?? Which one do i choose

    hi all,

I have been looking to get me some ATs I have seen the general grabbers AT2 which will cost me £399 for 5 delivered

or the FALKEN LA AT FALKEN AT - 265/70R15 110S TL which will cost me £284.50 for 5 delivered

Both prices are from Camskills, I think the GGs are £384.25 del from Roughtrax.

Which ones do i choose, are the GG worth the extra £115 or are there better deals out there, for better tyres??

Not fussed about road noise just looking all round grip on and off the road and in all weather.

    thanks for any advice

    John

the General grabbers will be better.

For a start the Falkens are very 'lively' in the wet!

thats not good, I'll avoid the Falkens like the plague then.

Hopefully Biosurf may have a solution to my problem

Get General Grabbers. Had mine over two years now, done the Strata Florida/Sarn Helen with them, plus several burnouts and they still look good.

How come you didn't ask Biosurf first then??????

Or (in the words of Joanna Lumley) "if you're really posh", get BFGs

It's a bit like Nike and Addidas, both do what they're supposed to do, it all depends wether you're a brand name snob or not.

or as i found when my 31's became slicks, spend about £500 and you have a 4 inch lift with 33's!

I think the GGs are the ones to get, but I have been offered a set used of 31's 2 x BFGs Ats and 2 enduro ATs for what seems a good price. So I may have to settle for those in these times of economic strain.

I have GG an they are loads better in the wet than the Yokahamas I had. Hold their own off road too. Would deff buy another set.
How can I be lost when I've got no where to go
