  • Which Tyres???

    Hi all,

I have just bought myself another Surf after about a year and it's got road tyres on it. I would like to get some for off roading to put on it but still need them to be bearable on the motorway which I assume leaves me with A/Ts.

Can anyone suggest some good ones that aren't too pricey and which are good for both on and off road.

I'm also looking to get a snorkel as I sank my last surf but better put that on a different thread.

    Thanks in advance

    Steve

it all depends on what you want to spend.I have the colway at's on mine which have been really good. they have been on now for nearly 2 yrs and plenty of tread left on them and not much road noise either.www.4x4accessoriesandtyres.com 01677425555

I just bought some Cooper Discoverer STs for mine, they look pretty good but never had them before...getting them fitted today. They're somewhat chunkier than I was expecting for an AT tyre

I paid £80 a tyre from http://www.formula4x4.co.uk and then £15 ea to be fitted and balanced.

I was quite surprised cos I was expecting an AT tyre and they seem somewhere in between AT and MT.

They are a wee bit noisy on the road but I quite like that

Pops where do you get yours fitted as I'm only round in Lee on Solent and they want to charge a lot more than that. Do you buy them separately and if so is it some where local???
