  • General Grabbers

In case it's of any intrest, I treated my lovely motor to new boots at Christmas.
Had BFG A/Ts on before and wanted them again but was told I'd have to wait until end of Jan to get size I wanted (265 70 16).
I was offered General Grabber A/Ts so went for them instead.
Visually as good as BFGs, nice aggressive tread for A/Ts and the all important white writing!!
Drove to Cornwall and back over New Year through rain, light snow and mud
without any probs at all. Nice and grippy so far. Will update as I put more miles on them.
Was quoted £536 fitted for BFGs, got these for £420 (4 tyres)
    You aint seen me, right

Quite agree. I've had my Grabbers for about a month now, and they're great!

Mine must have been a bargain aswell! BFG's were £480, and the Generals were £370, all fiitted and balaced, etc..

Have you noticed they've got pre-drilled holes to accept snow spikes?

I need to know where I can get some spikes from!!!
    It just does, OK?

Hadn't noticed the holes for spikes. Let me know if you find any, got a few anti 4x4ists I'd like to drive over

The General AT2s are supposed to be as good as the BFGs as well.

I have 33" General Grabber Mud Terrains (4" lift) as far as I can tell they are at least as good as BFG's.

Grabbers have ice spike holes (not sure about BFG's) but search as I might (E-bay, internet etc) I've never found anyone selling them.
