  • How Low would you go?

    Hi Gang

I appreciate that the legal requirment of minimum tyre depths is 1.6mm

But would you replace your AT & MT tyres earlier than road tyres.

My rear ones are now down below 4mm and they are looking rather SAD .

I look forward to your thoughts and comments.

Stop when you get to the wire wraps, that are just below the tread.
I found that they tend to skid a bit when you get to that point.

If you're looking for a bit of traction in the mud then I'd replace them. Be fine on road though.
