Question on tyre protection

I am yet to receive my Surf, but am wondering about the tyre issue: are there differences between AT tyres when it comes to protection against punctures in rough terrain? I would be keen to have some tyres that are less likely to give me trouble on trips.

If you go off road and don't want the plessure of flats in the middle of whateva buy some 'Slime', its for dirt bikes, put some in the tyre and when theres a hole it fills it real well! Drive home wash ya truck and swap them over when you feel!
