I really like my Teng Tool sets. I had an old set:

but then bought another three more to keep in the Surf. They are high quality made in Japan and come in really good red storage boxes.

All bought from the same seller (emfcycles) which I can recommend. I added a set of Halfords professional ratchet spanners (in a tool roll) and the whole lot fits nicely into the rear left storage locker.Last edited by PDR; 17 January 2008, 16:47.Mine WAS a 150 bhp V6 and ran on PETROL

mornin' all
what my dad (retired mechanic) always taught me is that you should start with a mainstream 1/2" & 3/8" socket set & a set of open & ring spanners from laser, halfords etc.
This will do for the main bits then, as bits wear out/break (usually the bits you use a lot - how many of us use a 15mm socket/spanner) you just replace the broken bits with ones of better quality (Draper professional, Mac, Britool & Snap On).
Has always worked for me and doesn't mean spending loads on kit you'll hardly use but the common stuff is top quality.
hope this helps
