Hi folks,
It is with regret I have decided to sell my Gen 3 '96 KN185 3litre diesel Surf. Just serviced and MOTd in December with 2 new batteries, 2 new General Grabber AT2 tyres. Always garage serviced, lots of receipts going back to when it was imported.
About 125,000 miles. Was out for a drive last weekend and engine got a bit lumpy and then noticed a lot of grey smoke out the back. Garage has looked at it, compression checked, 2 cylinders down. They suspect head gasket, but I reckon it is the head :-(
Paint has blown on roof and a bit on bonnet. Dent on back door and bumper. Front RHS sidelight is broken. Sunroof has stopped working.
It has a 2" lift and AT2s all round. Towbar, Thule roof bars, KC driving lights. Metallic green.
Pick up from Edinburgh. It was driving, limped home, but cold starting was touch and go. Not sure what it'll be like once the garage put it back together.
Someone give me a fair offer on this, or I'll be scrapping it soon. Thanks!
