Toyota 4 Runner 3l 1994
I have owned this car for 6 years and its has been the most reliable and easy to own vehicle I have ever had. The reason for sale is that unfortunately the uk roads are now taking its toll on the body work (see pictures) and I have not got the time to sort wings and wheel arches out and need something tidier for work. Mechanically it runs superb and I am sure would continue to do so for many miles to come.
The good
Great engine, gearbox and drive train (170k miles but engine sounds great and no smoke)
Four wheel drive works spot on
No clunks or bumps
Full Toyota main dealer service history up to 120k ish miles. Regularly serviced since
Timing belts replaced at 60 and 120 by toyota
Loads of receipts and paperwork
Rear Window works (fitted new motor and regulator)
Been ultra reliable
Remote central locking and two sets of keys
Reasonably tidy inside for age
MOT mid July 2013
After market alloys (laquer just starting to go) tyres good
Momo sports leather steering wheel (original inc)
Stainless toyota front A bar
DAB radio with face off and aux input for iphone etc
Rear load cover
Replaced front brake pads, disks and callipers
Replaced rear load sensor and brake pipes renewed
Radiator replaced inc toyota red coolant
Middle and rear exhaust section replaced
Heavy duty Roughtrax rear springs fitted
The not so good
Body work is showing signs of rust, both front wings need replacing and rear wheel arches treating, doors are all good.
A full set of new wheel arch extensions and rubbers inc
Sun roof has not worked since I have had the truck
with some work ie new bolt on wings this vehicle could look tidy but more importantly it is mechanically sound which in part I put down to the early Main Dealer uncompromising servicing . Its a great work horse and will go anywhere.
The vehicle is taxed until end Jan 2014. This is not included in sale but is negotiable
