WRT my Passat.

It is unattractive to export it to the UK. We have VRT (form of tax) here which adds about 25% onto the price of the car. I lose that if I export. Also cars in Ireland are a lower spec to minimise VRT.

Far to many "BMW,s" "MERC,s" aswell but no need to give the Surf away, this is proberly why prices have dropped . People are under cutting the next bloke and so on, there will always be a cheaper one than you have thats life. One of my other mates in the trade is snapping up cheap SURF,s off ebay and is selling them on his forecourt for double what he payed for them.
